We didn't get to talk to Luke for long today because he is taking a bus to San Ignacio. San Ignacio is one of the many missions founded in 1610 in Argentina by the Jesuits in what the colonial Spaniards called the Province of Paraguay of the Americas during the Spanish colonial period. The ruins there are one of the best preserved of Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina. There are remains of a church, cemetery, a monastery and houses. I can't wait to see Luke's pictures after his visit! He's so excited because most P-days consist of them playing around at the church building. Glad he gets to go out and explore!
