Another Transfer in Corrientes!!

  How's it going ya´ll!! It has been way too long so I apologize. Things are going great here in Corrientes. I hit my 6 month mark a week from now! I don´t know where the time went but here we are. Elder Camacho and I have been working super hard. Not going to lie, this transfer was a tough one and I had a lot of little challenges to overcome but it has also been such a joy to work here and help people receive the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. It is so cool because here in Corrientes we are super close to becoming a stake and a ward in Armenia. It is really cool to work with the leaders here and help them plan and readjust their focus to help achieve these goals. We started out my time here with 52 church attendance on average, and we are now doubled that on average. It is really amazing to see the lord reward the efforts of the saints here.  Erika and Sandra Marassi were baptized in this transfer too! Sandra has been an investigador for over 13 years! Luke's week included Jose, spur of the moment basketball game, and counseling success...

 I think the best news I heard in our conversation with Luke today was that he has started his counseling sessions and absolutely LOVES his counselor.  She is a woman from the States that recently lost her husband and decided to go on a mission.  So she is meeting with him online from Buenos Aires.  I think it helps that she too is serving a mission and could relate so much to him.  She has loosely diagnosed Luke with OCD Scrupulosity.    OCD  is a type of  OCD  that relates to religion and morality. People who experience  scrupulosity  have a “fear of being guilty of religious, moral, or ethical failure..."   I'm so glad he is getting help so he can mentally feel better and be able to cope with the rigorous  missionary life.  He sounded so hopeful and excited about the changes he is already feeling.
