Week of miracles!!! And a little glimpse of the "Old Luke" :) ha ha ha!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE when Luke starts out our Monday discussions with "We saw miracles this week!"  I love when he recognizes the Lord's hands in the work! This week Luke and Elder Childs had a discussion with a couple named Jonathon and Milagos (sp?)  They are a young couple that is not married and they have a baby.  He is 21 and she is only 18!!!!  Wow that is young!  They started out and Jonathon was really interested but Milagos was not so much.  In fact she left during the discussion.  A little later she came back and they were in the middle of reading the Book of Mormon with Jonathon.  Suddenly she came in and joined in on the discussion.  Luke said it is another testament of the Book of Mormon!  She really opened up to them and as they were reading in 3 Nephi 18 they were talking about the sacrament and Sacrament meeting, they found out that her parents were taking the discussions but never got baptized because they weren't marr...

Luke's new area...Posadas

Well Luke is loving his new area!  He says it feels like he is in the jungle!  Well Luke is getting transferred!  So tomorrow he will go to the last province that he hasn't been to yet.  It's "out in the boonies" and is very beautiful.  It's where Iguazu Falls is located.  His area is called Missiones and he will be in Posadas.  He will continue to be a Zone Leader and his companion will be Elder Childs from Utah.  He went to Lone Peak High School.  Luke has already been on exchanges with Elder Childs and just loves him.  He is a skateboarder and also wake boards and has already invited Luke to go with he and his family some day.  I'm so glad he is excited about his new companion!!!  And can't wait to hear about his new adventures in his new area. Well what a week.  It was going great...awesome Eric got baptized and the baptism was beautiful!  Definitely a highlight of the mission for Luke, he loves Eric and it has been an amazing experience to teach him and see his love of the Book of Mormon help t...
