A visit back to Reconquista, and a busy week with people that are progressing!

Well I only got to talk to Luke for a short period of time between me being at the State Capital with Eva, and he was busy.  But it sounds like Elder Rose is doing great!  Keeping busy and staying happy!  They have a number of people they are working with, and they had 6 people at church!  Here are some of their friends who are progressing...

  • Eric - they street contacted Eric and he is golden.  He is already going to Institute with some people from the ward and came to church Sunday!  He is 24 years old and is looking for something in his life.  He is excited about the gospel and said "I wish someone would have told me about the gospel and Jesus visiting the Americas earlier!"
  • Molena - she is the granddaughter of a member (well really she is the daughter of her sons girlfriend)  She is 9 years old and is really shy but she is really starting to open up to the missionaries.
  • Mateo - He is the barber that I mentioned in previous posts, he is the one that cuts President Reber's hair.  He said he was going to come to church.  Well Luke and Elder Packer went to check on him the morning before church and he was still in bed!  So Luke and Elder Packer went in and woke him up!!!!  He got up and came to church and even his mom came!
  • Karina-  she is the mom to a recent convert, so exciting to have family members come around!
  • Lucia - she is a 9 year old that is the neighbor of the Bishop.  She came to church and wants to take the lessons.  They think they might be able to teach her family too!  Exciting!
So there you go, lots going on!!!!  And it was great to hear that Ellie and Leo are still going strong!

Luke also go to visit his old area Reconquista and was so excited to see that Reuben is still doing great!  What a neat treat to see him!

Rueben - he got baptized back in June 2022
