Rueben got baptized!!!

 We were so excited to get on the phone with Luke this morning and find out that Rueben got baptized!!!  We usually would see a baptism announcement or something but we didn't see anything, so we were wondering if he backed out.  So we were relieved to get on and hear the baptism did happen!!!!  And the Elder's Quorum's granddaughter Pierina, also got baptized!  So it was a great weekend for Luke and his companion! I might have mentioned Rueben before.  His daughter is a member and prayed and prayed that her father's heart would be softened and that he would come to church some day.  Well it happed and now he has been coming to church for a long time!  In fact I think Luke said he as been over 49 times!  And he is already in Alma in the Book of Mormon!  He was more than ready.  But he kept feeling like he wasn't ready.  This week they watched a video on the Sacrament and he said he couldn't wait to take the Sacrament as a membe...

Hello from Reconquista, Santa Fe Argentina

  Hey all! Sorry I have not written an email in sooooo long. I am currently in my second area in Reconquista, Santa Fe Argentina and I am having a good time! Lots of miracles and blessings along the way. I learned a lot in Corrientes and my experiences there. I am extremely grateful for all my companions and people I met that have changed my life and especially for the Savior Jesus Christ.  I want to share an experience I had this week: We received a reference from a member that was in the hospital visiting someone. The other Elders in Reconquista went by to give a priesthood blessing to this person and while they were there visiting, someone in the hospital room next door saw the Elders and asked the member if they could visit him. His mom had cancer and was going into Hospice that very day. They lived in our area and so we were going to visit him the next day. Elder Moulton, my companion, was feeling sick all week so we couldn´t get outside and visit people a ton. We were in...
