Pictures from Luke's week...

Sunday I emailed a very detailed email about our cruise.  I wondered if it was too much and would make Luke home sick or sad that he missed out.  But I sent it anyway because I felt like he would want to know what we did.

Well then Monday comes and I'm waiting for his call, which usually comes around 7:30 or 8:00 am.  I waited and waited and nothing.  Uh-oh...did  I make Luke sad and now he didn't want to call.  It got later and later and I started to worry so I texted him and said "I know you're busy, just send an emoji so I know you are alive and ok."  Nothing!  So then I started to get worried.  Finally as I'm getting ready for work around 10:30 he calls!!!!!  And when I answered he was all smiles!  Phew!  Not home sickness, just a busy P-day getting hair cuts, doing laundry, etc.  I was so relieved!  I would rather him be busy and happy then sad that I emailed him too much information :)

We didn't get to hear much but he did find new people to teach and Liliana has a date for baptism!  I'm so excited for her.  She has been reading the Book of Mormon and she sounds solid!  So I guess we'll have to wait until next week to hear more details!

Luke's friend Matias was set apart as a missionary and Luke got to be there.  It's funny because we were actually on the phone with him and they walked by and said he was getting set apart and Luke's mission president was coming to do the setting apart.  So last minute Luke got to join them!  Thus the casual attire :)  It's cool because Luke got to see this kid grown.  When Luke first got there he wasn't sure he wanted to go on a mission and Luke has been there long enough to see the process of him deciding to go.  That is a blessing that he has been in that area that long!

Luke's zone.  It's amazing what a difference 1 person can make.  Luke had a tough relationship with his last zone leader and now he has a new one that he loves and it has made all the difference for Luke!  So glad he is happy and loving his zone.

Luke and Elder Camacho sat out and watched a huge storm.  He sent a video of the rain coming down so hard it looked like it was going sideways.  And the lightening was lighting up the whole sky!
