Email from Elder Rose 12.6.21

 It was an amazing week here in Corrientes. I love this city so much. I have really grown a great relationship with the members here and especially with Presidente Antonio. He is a great man and priesthood holder that I aspire to be like. 

This week was probably the most learning of my life. I can't get into too many details because I really don't have a ton of time with a computer so I am so sorry if I can't respond today. But this week we had divisiones where we switch companions for a day, or in my case two. We had some miracles happen. We had an awesome lesson with Dalma who I found on facebook, had a great lesson with Maxi who is progressing so much and I was able to understand him!!! He speaks hood spanish which is insanely hard for me to understand but this week I could understand him way more. I got a prompting to ask him if he wanted a priesthood blessing and he said yes!! I had no clue how to do it in spanish, but I read it super fast in the manual and it was such a cool experience for me. 

Then we went and played futbol, and we were able to talk with and get the number of two friends that came with a youth in the branch named Hugo!! The last miracle of Wednesday was in the taxi. We needed to be in Laguna Seca by 10. But we could not find a taxi until literally 10:30. So I was stressing trying to flag down a taxi and I finally found one on his way home with his wife. Usually we stay completely silent in the taxis and I intended to do the same this time. We struck up a great conversation where I understood all they were saying!!! I shared what we do as missionaries and they asked me for my number!! It was an awesome miracle for my confidence.
