Bwhahaha Elder Rosa's Meme of Luke

Sister Reber emailed me and asked me to send a picture of Luke as a toddler.  They had a game the other day where they had to try to guess which picture went with which missionary.  I guess no one could guess that Luke matched up with his picture.  When they did they all had a good laugh at what a cute little guy he was.  President Reber said Luke has a few more teeth nowadays.  :)  

And then Luke's friend Elder Rosa took the picture and made a meme....it says if you share this picture with 5 people then you'll get 30 contacts on Facebook and 25 baptisms.  Ha ha ha!  Funny stuff!

Goodbye to old friends, hello to new companion - Elder Suarez!

 Luke's good friend Elder Rodriguez finished his mission and left this week!  This is the Elder that is friends with our neighbors up the street, the Wasiks!  And then Luke got to welcome 5 new missionaries!  So fun to be in this position right now to say goodbye's and to welcome the new ones!  Next week is going to be a tear-filled one as he has to say goodbye to his beloved mission president and his sweet wife!   One funny thing happened while they were at the airport.  There was a transgender man there in a dress.  As they walked by President Reber said to Luke and his companion "Nice dress!"  ha ha ha, Luke got a kick out of that! :)  Luke is loving his new companion Elder Suarez.  He is so kind and loving toward people and a great guy.  He is from Paraguay so he has a soft spot in my heart because my brother Tyler served in Paraguay!   That's about it from the week.  Busy busy but doing great! A Warm Welcome from a 9 Year Old

 Luke said that it was so sweet because someone they went to teach had a 9 year old that made him a necklace and a little note that said "Thanks for coming to make a happy family."  What a sweet sentiment.  it warmed Luke's heart and he said he'll keep it forever!
