Luke's first Sunday in the mission - (FB Post)

Esta es la familia Ipridimo-mollo ellos son la mejor familia!!!! Y mi mejor amigo Valentino quién quiere aprender muchísimo Inglés!!!! Yo voy a enseñarle más Inglés y él va a enseñarme más español!! Estoy muy agradecido por mi compañero Elder Ramos y esta familia también. Ellos son bendiciones en mi vida. Dios es nuestro amoroso padre celestial. Estoy muy agradecido por mi tiempo por solomente dos días en la gran misión de Resistencia!!!!!!! A ser un misionero es un bendición!!!!!

This is the Ipidimo-mollo family, they are the best family!!!!  And my best friend Valentino who wants to learn a lot of English!!!!  I'm going to teach him more English and he's going to teach me more Spanish!!  I'm so thankful for my partner Elder Ramos and this family too.  They are blessings in my life.  God is our loving Heavenly Father.  I am very grateful for my time for only two days in the great Resistencia Mission!!!!!!  To be a missionary is a blessing!!!!

Goodbye to old friends, hello to new companion - Elder Suarez!

 Luke's good friend Elder Rodriguez finished his mission and left this week!  This is the Elder that is friends with our neighbors up the street, the Wasiks!  And then Luke got to welcome 5 new missionaries!  So fun to be in this position right now to say goodbye's and to welcome the new ones!  Next week is going to be a tear-filled one as he has to say goodbye to his beloved mission president and his sweet wife!   One funny thing happened while they were at the airport.  There was a transgender man there in a dress.  As they walked by President Reber said to Luke and his companion "Nice dress!"  ha ha ha, Luke got a kick out of that! :)  Luke is loving his new companion Elder Suarez.  He is so kind and loving toward people and a great guy.  He is from Paraguay so he has a soft spot in my heart because my brother Tyler served in Paraguay!   That's about it from the week.  Busy busy but doing great! A Warm Welcome from a 9 Year Old

 Luke said that it was so sweet because someone they went to teach had a 9 year old that made him a necklace and a little note that said "Thanks for coming to make a happy family."  What a sweet sentiment.  it warmed Luke's heart and he said he'll keep it forever!
